  3. Mission & Objectives Mission: Reach out to all AUB alumni across the world and bring them back into the fold! Objectives: • Obtain current alumni data, including contact information, to facilitate alumni communications and reconnections between alumni and with AUB • Recognize our alumni’s accomplishments and achievements • Encourage our alumni to access the online community and keep their profiles up to date

  4. Achievements • Updated a significant number of alumni records through coordination with chapters and individual contacts (approx. 6,000) • Launched the WAAAUB electronic newsletter, Al Jame’a. Three issues published to date • Established presence on Face Book to reach out to the younger alumni • Hostler Center proposal - • Promoted the committee’s objectives and mandate through AUB publications

Strategy & Future Plans • Ongoing work to enhance accuracy and integrity of alumni data, a critical requirement for the success of all WAAAUB initiatives • Reach out to AUB alumni through Linkedin, the best global professional networking site • Work with the programs committee on identifying and establishing additional benefits to attract alumni to the network • Refine and enhance Al Jame’a based on feedback from alumni and with the assistance of additional contributors (writing and content) • Continue to promote the AUB alumni online community where users can update their own information. Promote the WAAAUB website as the one stop resource for timely alumni information (calendar of events, newsletters, etc.)
