Recommendations • Develop a better communication process with AUB alumni at large and the council members - Improve the AUB alumni mailing list - Work with Chapters to establish a strong regional database for AUB alumni • - Continuously disseminate the briefings of WAAAUB meetings and updates • - Provide AUB alumni with a life e-mail address • - Develop a marketing strategy to promote WAAAUB and its publication in coordination with AUB alumni chapters • Plan ahead ……… • - Schedule the convention early in the year • - Develop and distribute the WAAAUB annual agenda • Develop an on-line payment platform for AUB alumni chapters October 2009 North American Regional Gathering - Montreal, Canada 2

Council Members Role Toward WAAAUB • Serving WAAAUB by • - Being members on WAAAUB Standing Committees • - Attending WAAAUB activities and events • - Promoting WAAAUB activities and events to AUB alumni at large • - Representing WAAAUB in their region • - Proposing to WAAAUB Board through the Council Chair new programs and activities that can better serve the mission of WAAAUB • - Working closely with AUB alumni chapters in their region - Attending their events • - Helping them in promoting their events October 2009 North American Regional Gathering - Montreal, Canada 5

Council Members Role Toward Alumni at Large • Represent the interest of AUB alumni at large • - Reporting to the council chair on AUB alumni interests and recommendations • - Develop open communication channels with AUB alumni in their region (through social and professional networking) • - Keep the alumni in their region informed about WAAAUB and AUB • - Be the liaison between the alumni at Large and the Council chair October 2009 North American Regional Gathering - Montreal, Canada 6
