14. Admission Requirements All applicants who meet minimum requirements will receive a comprehensive review of their application.
11 of the 15 “a-g” courses by the end of 11th grade

15. 15 Campus Selection in Admission Comprehensive Review – Policy since 2002:
Defines merit using multiple measures of accomplishment and promise

16. Systemwide Referral Process UC intends to continue to use the referral process to provide a space to students who are not admitted to any campus of their choice and who meet the following:
Are California residents
Meet UC’s admission index (top 9% statewide) and/or
Are in the top 9% of their class at the end of junior year after completing 11 specific “a-g” courses – the ELC process 16
17. ELC Process Outreach letters will be sent to top students from each participating high school in September encouraging them to apply
ELC will expand from the top 4% to the top 9%
