My name is Sky! By Lily Lui 6A CCC But San Primary School
Hello everybody, name is Sky! I am a plane. My job is helping people to go to other places. I hope I can make people happy.
I like my job because I like going to other countries. I like travelling! I can learn many things about other countries from my job.
One day last year, I helped people to go to Kenya. A man had his lunch. He ate less food but he wasted lots of food.
The man said to the airhostess, “Go away! I don’t need any food!” The airhostess said, “If you don’t eat any food, you will die soon.”
The man shook his head and said, “I don’t think so. If it is really so, I don’t mind.” Then the airhostess didn’t say anything and she went away.
I arrived in Kenya. People got off the plane. All people were in the tourist groups. The man was in one of the tourist groups. They went to a hotel.
On the first day, people hot up early. They had breakfast. The other people ate all the food. But the man, Tim, ate less food and wasted lots of food.
In the afternoon, they went to a Kenyan, Mary’s house. Mary only had a little millet for breakfast. The other people felt Kenyans are poor. Only Tim did not feel.
Then, they walked on the street. There were many families. Some of them didn’t have any food to eat. Some of them didn’t have a house.
At night, Tim got ready to go to bed. The environment was very bad. That night, he didn’t sleep. He hit the flies and caught mice all night.
On the second day morning, they had breakfast. “Kenyans are very poor….” Tim thought. This time he ate more and wasted less food.
On the last day of the trip, they had breakfast. “Kenyans are really very poor…” Tim thought. This time, he ate all the food and didn’t waste any food!
The next day, Tim went back to Hong Kong. “I meet Tim again !” I thought. On the plane, he had lunch. This time, he ate all the food too !
But then, Tim called an airhostess. “May I have more food?” Tim asked. “Sorry, we don’t have enough food,” the air hostess said. “I am wasting food…” Tim was sad.
I arrived in Hong Kong. People got off the plane. Tim went home and put cans, bottles and paper in recycling bins. Then, he gave his old clothes to charity.
I was very happy because Tim had changed. I can learn many things from different countries. I can see people change too!
