  2. E-cloud activities for the SPS • SPS tests followed by data analysis • Coating • Electrodes • Grooves • Microwave • MDs – benchmarking • Simulations – scaling laws • High frequency FB (collaboration with SLAC)

  3. SPS impedance • Search for unknown impedances: • transverse (V?) – broad-band • longitudinal – narrow-band (HOM) • MDs, calculations • New design for high impedance elements (e.g. MKE – BT)

  4. Hardware upgrade • Beam dump (AB/ATB) • RF upgrade (AB/RF) • power plant • couplers, feeder lines • beam control • transverse damper

  5. New hardware in the SPS • MKI for injection at 50 GeV • Transfer line (?) • Beam collimation • Beam instrumentation
