Summary of Cost Changes • Overall methodology: Change in instrument delivery date assumed to be from 7/14/05 to 9/28/05, so added 2.5 months schedule at current rate (~$900K) In addition: • HEPL • Incorporates pending changes in June 04 proposal to NASA • Adds two graduate students • Pending review by Peter Michelson • UCSC • Adds students, reflects one-year reduction in budget (change in funding source)

Summary of Cost Changes, Cont’d • SLAC • Reflects funding change for computer support • Extends peak level of PMCS support for four months (rather than 2.5) to keep pace with project schedule; adds incremental budget for rebaseline implementation • Increases budget for Lockheed Martin thermal support to full-time
