  2. Release 9.2 New Features • Updated Shopping Experience • Home/Shop page • Shop at the top search • New Hosted Supplier Icons • Search & Search results • Overhaul of Favorites • Search by Custom Field PO & PR History • New Product Flags “Green Product” and “Energy Star”

Updated Shopping Experience • The 9.2 has improvements to the shopping experience both visually and functionally. • The goal of the changes for shopping, the home page, and favorites is to reduce the complexity of and increase the intuitiveness of these functions. • In an effort to improve usability the following updates have been made to the shopping experience.

Updated Shopping Experience • Home Page and Product Search pages have been combined into one location on the new home/shop tab. • “Shop at the Top” - item search has been streamlined by adding a single search box for simpler keyword searches. The new “Shop at the Top” feature will allow shoppers to more easily perform standard searches. “Shop at the Top” also include options for “Advanced Search,” “Browse by” searches that are commonly used to search by supplier, category, and links to Go to favorites, and quick order. “Shop at the Top” remains on the Search Results screen so the user can easily search again or use additional options to search. • “Action Items” - Shoppers have quick links to recent and completed, Requisitions/Carts and Purchases Orders in the new “Action Items” section. • New “Hosted Catalog Suppliers” Section - Hosted Catalog Suppliers are display directly below the simple search. Punch-outsuppliers are display below the Hosted Catalog Suppliers. • The Search Results format has been updated. Items are more easily identifiable and necessary information (e.g. product description and image, supplier, unit of measure, price, manufacturer information, etc.) is more prominently featured on the results pages. • Shoppers have improved sorting and filtering options. Results may be sorted by part number, description, size, packaging, supplier and price. Results may be filtered by supplier, category, unit of measure (UOM) and custom catalog attributes, if configured. • The compare feature has been updated to allow for product comparisons across pages in search results.

The New Home/Shop Page Things to note... • The home and product search tabs have been combined into a new home/shop tab. • The standard (simple) search has been moved to the top of the screen and is termed Shop at the Top. Benefits include simple search by product vertical and a clear visual cue of “where to start shopping.” • All shopping methods are now easily accessible from the home page, including the options directly below the simple search: • Favorites • Quick Order • Browse Hosted supplier & categories • Hosted Catalog Suppliers display directly below the simple search. Punch-outsuppliers display below the Hosted Catalog Suppliers. • On the left side of the screen: The Review section has been reworked and named Action Items. The Organization Message is located directly below Action Items. • The resources (Help) section is centered at the bottom of the screen.   6. Hosted Catalog Suppliers Section The new Hosted Catalog Suppliers Section has been created to make it easier to indentify supplier who have a hosted catalog within the M-marketsite. User are now be able to easily Search for items by hosted supplier, shop by Categories for a hosted supplier and link to the hosted supplier University Contract Page. Directly from the M-marketsite Home/Shop page. When a hosted supplier log is clicked on the user can then perform a search of on that hosted supplier or see the item categories for that supplier or open the hosted supplier University Contract page in a new window. All in this new pop open box/window.

Simple Search “Shop at the Top” - item search has been streamlined by adding a single search box for simpler keyword searches. • M-marketsite Home/Shop “Shop at the Top” Search is for Hosted catalogs only • Unless shoppers are look for an item from a specific supplier, users should choose the default Everything vertical and then enter keywords to searches across all hosted products and suppliers. This combination provides a robust search, and in many cases, eliminates the need for advanced search • Advanced search allows users to enter additional criteria to generate more specific search results than with simple search. The search criteria available depends on the product vertical selected. By default, once advanced search is opened after login, it will remain open with subsequent searches.   8. Search Results • The Search Results format has been updated. Product Search Results Things to note... • The presentation and layout of the Product Search Results changes significantly with this release. • The new product search results allow users to focus on key information such as item description and price. • Sorting is now accomplished through the Sort by drop-down box (previously by column headings). • Search results can easily be refined by keyword, supplier, category, or packaging UOM (all available on the left side of the screen). • NEW: • Sort by Price (high to low and low to high) • Refine by Packaging UOM (each, pack, case, etc) • If available (from the supplier), the product image is included in the search results and can be made larger for viewing. • A item-specific legend it provided for product flags and supplier classes. Mouse-over any of the icons for the legend to display (as shown on left). • The Action drop-down box and Go button has been replaced by various options on the screen. IMPORTANT: The order of search results does not change with this release.

  10. Product (Item) Comparison Things to note... • The Compare function provides a side by side, detailed comparison of two or more products. This feature was previously accessed through the Action drop-down box. • NEW: Products found across multiple pages of search results can now be compared to one another. • As shown in the top graphic, by default, the compare button is grayed out. Once the compare link is selected for one or more items, the button is active and lists the number of items being compared. • In the lower graphic, the top two items in the search results have been selected for comparison, as indicated by the checkmarks. To add an additional item for comparison – on this page or another one – simply click the compare link. • The product comparison function has not changed (it looks exactly as before). The only difference is how items are selected for comparison.

  11. Overhaul of Favorites Favorites is a powerful feature of the M-marketsite, allowing users to easily save frequently ordered hosted items for future purchase. The primary goal of updating the Favorites functionality in M-marketsite is to enable flexible allowing easy management of a users favorite items. All of the Favorites functionality has been overhauled to enhance the user experience. • All M-marketsite users have My Favorites with permission to view and use Personal Favorites. • A new split-pane view allows faster navigation of Favorites folders and items within those folders • An all-new format for viewing Favorite items that makes browsing much friendlier and more navigable, and includes product images, important attributes, an optional description, and more • A more direct method for editing, moving/copying, and deleting Favorites without using a separate editing interface

New and Improved Favorites Things to note... • The presentation and layout of the Favorites navigation tab improves significantly with this release. • Favorites can also be accessed directly from the home/shop  shop tab, directly below the simple search (Go to: favorites). • As before, users can create personal folders and add items, move items, rename items, delete items, and order directly from the favorites tab. Benefit: All this is accomplished through a single screen (manage and edit tabs removed).

Adding Favorite Items Things to note... • As before, favorites can be added from multiple places in the application, including: • Product Search Results (shown on left) • Cart (during review) • Purchase Requisitions-Cart / Purchase Orders • The most common way that favorites are added is through Product Search Results. With the screen being updated, this task changes slightly: • Step 1: Click the add favorite link from the product search results for the appropriate item. • Step 2: Update the product name and quantity, and select the appropriate favorites folder. • Ordering from favorites (Step 3): View the item in your favorites and add to your cart directly from this screen. • When adding an item as a favorite you can add an item to a personal Favorites folder. Search by Custom Field • M-marketsite PR History and PO History includes searchable custom fields filters “Department Reference Number” and “Shortcode”. • Historical documents/data are available for searching based on the custom fields. • Multiple custom fields can be included in the search; however the search will not support multiple values for the same custom field.

New Product Flags • Suppliers can currently provide product data with associated classifications such as Toxins, Hazardous, Radioactive, Controlled Substances. • With the 9.2 Release, two additional “product flags” will be available giving suppliers the ability to indicate if their products are classified as “Green Product” or “Energy Star” . • As supplier update their hosted catalog you will start to see these new product flag icons
