  1. 2010-11 Annual Monitoring LIS Feedback • Jo Owens-Crook, Partnership & External Liaison

Annual Monitoring Process: • Assurance of the quality of course provision on and off campus. • Submission of course level reports and institutional level reports. • Submission of course level and corporate level marketing materials that relate to UCLan courses, to ensure compliance with the QAA Code of Practice.

  3. Annual Monitoring Process: • Annual Monitoring Process co-ordinated by AQASU. • Partnership & External Liaison Team are responsible for: • reviewing the Partner Institutional Reports and the submitted marketing materials • compiling the UK Collaborative Provision report for ASQAC

  4. UK Collaborative Report • Sections on: • The Annual Monitoring process • Generic Partnership Issues • Service Level Issues • Issues to be referred to the University • Publicity materials • Good Practice • Partners are adequately meeting QAA Marketing Guidelines for Collaborative Provision.

  5. UK Collaborative Report: Outcomes • The University can be assured of the quality of it’s Collaborative Provision. • Partners are adequately meeting QAA Marketing Guidelines for Collaborative Provision. • The review highlighted 5 Actions.

  6. Commentary Relating to Library: • A few partners mentioned that steps have been taken to improve library facilities or book stocks and opening times at student request and once again there were a few institutions that noted it would be of benefit for students to have further induction/ information on the UCLan LIS and Library facilities including VALNOW. • Blackburn, Carlisle, Hugh Baird & Preston.

  7. Action- Student Feedback Section: • ACTION 3: Provide further information to Partners on the UCLan Learning and Information Services (LIS) Library and VALNOW facilities. • Liaison with LIS Library and Training Services, Partners and Partnership & External Liaison Team to explore way forward.
