Pick up a form, get your permission slip signed and turn in your $10 check to the GOAL office at the same time. Slips will not be accepted without checks. Please note: GOAL can only accept checks as payment.

The Frick Historical TourThursday, January 25, 2013 Experience the culture and refinement of the Gilded Age! We will tour the Clayton house, the Car and Carriage Museum, and the Frick Museum's current exhibit on World Fairs! The museum and its multiple collections are the legacy of Helen, daughter of Henry Clay Frick, one of America's wealthest industrialists and art collectors. National History Day at the Senator John Heinz History Center encourages students to research history in an exciting and creative way. Either individually or in groups, students create exhibits, produce documentaries, write papers, design websites, or stage performances. Each activity is judged and first, second, and third place winners move on to state and possibly national competition. The competition will take place in March with winners moving on to state level which will be held on May. A summer enrichment program run by the Carnegie Mellon School of Computer Science for local area high school students. Through special classes and guest faculty presentations, students discover the exciting and vast possibilities of computer science. Students LEAP ahead ten years in their understanding as they are exposed to the frontiers of computer science research. Students interact with notable scientists, visit cool, eading-edge local companies and dive into their own projects. They emerge with a vivid overview of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon.
