Reviewed Pull functional spec with the group for agreement on functionality needed for Patient Record Look-up • A lot of good discussion was held to modify spec to have changes based on the new SHIN-NY strategy • Functional Specification document has been updated to reflect these changes • Additional discussions were around patient matching and whether or not to limit patient matching to a 100% patient match • Specification was updated based on feedback from several workgroup participants from August 4thcall. • Spec was updated and will be distributed for a vote on August 18th call

  8. UPHN v1 Implementation • THINC has used it for production ADT data reporting to NYSDOH • THINC is working with NYSDOH to implement it for hospitals to report Syndromic Surveillance Data for Meaningful Use Requirements

  9. UPHN v2 Status Update • Overall Technical Architecture • Likely to follow the SHIN-NY Security Architecture v1 • Will include support for NHIN Direct • Immunization Bidirectional Information Exchange (IBIE): • Service Definition and Functional Specifications has been finalized • WebService Specifications is being developed and should be available in September for input/comment • Aims for full production by the end of 2010 • Identified ADT Data Service • Service Definition and Functional Specifications is being developed and should be available for input/comment shortly
