Understanding Utility Partnerships • Most Utilities would like: • To reduce energy demand through wise energy use. • To maximize energy dollars. • Opportunities to leverage dollars. • Direct contact educational opportunities with customers. • To help the utility’s most vulnerable populations.
Understanding Utility Partnerships • Utilities could offer: • Fuel assistance funding. • Most have customer donation funds. • Energy Efficiency programs. • Public Benefit programs or Conservation Fee funds. • Customer Education. • Staff trained in energy conservation presentations, energy auditors. • Data Sharing with customer approval. • Consumption of high energy users, arrearage customers, high energy burden customers.
