Division of University Advancement Together, these units make up Ohio University's Division of University Advancement. They build and strengthen the University's relationships with all of those important in the life of the institution. Whether with prospective or current students, parents, alumni, faculty and staff, or the community, University Advancement engages and informs, teaches and inspires. University Advancement tells the University's stories and champions its mission across the state, the nation, and even the world. Societies Academic • Groups of alumni and friends of the university who graduated from or have an interest in a specific academic college or program. Special Interest • Groups of alumni and friends of the university who share common interests in non-academic areas.
Scholarships • Scholarships Alumni Association and Affinity Group Scholarships support students associated with that particular affinity group based on geography, college, school, or special interest. We currently have over 40 scholarships totaling over $2.2 million in endowments associated with our alumni networks.
