  1. Straw Tower Results 8/19 • Please Do Now: • The scientific method is the way that scientists answer a question or solve a problem. • What was your “problem” with the straw tower project? • What was your hypothesis for the straw tower project?

  2. Problem-The tower had to hold a ball and to make the tower as tall as possible • Hypothesis- would it hold a ball and a reason as to why it would work

  3. Straw Tower • You need to record the following information in your notebooks: • Part Two - Information Collected During Testing • Height of Tower:_________________ • Height at top of the ball:____________ • Did the Straw Tower hold the ball? Yes No Explain which one!

  4. Straw Tower Analysis • How did the Straw Tower fail and what could you do to improve your design? • Where did the Straw Tower fail? (list location of failure and ID on drawing above) • What one thing would you change about the design next time?
