The Concept behind the Academy • Was created to fulfill the needs of having a professional computer training programs aimed at youth level. • Youth have tremendous energies, talents and capabilities, especially when it comes to computer technology. • Such talents could be put in useful use in such program.

  3. INFORMATION ABOUT THE ACADEMY • Program Targets Youth age 12-16. • First of its kind in Kuwait. • 13 different areas of computer specializations. • Advanced levels of the same specialization will be offered in the future. • Majors ranged from Computer Security, Desktop Publishing, Networking to Game Programming and Multimedia. • Interviews and free advice to students prior to admission.

  4. INFORMATION ABOUT THE ACADEMY • Working in small groups. • Practical hands training. • Project at the end of every specialization. • Bilingual teaching. • Classes for Boys and also for Girls. • Hand picked instructors. • Suitable Learning environment an modern computer laboratories.

  5. LAUNCHING OR THE ACADEMY • Classes will start mid March, 2010. • Classes will be held twice a week. • Two Hours per lecture. • Evening classes. • Flexible schedule in order not to create conflict with normal school work. • Each specialization takes about 12 weeks. • Prerequisites courses might be neededdepending on each student’s prior knowledge.

  6. LAUNCHING OF THE ACADEMY • Desktop Publishing , Multimedia Authoring, Game Programming and Web Site. Development majors will be offered first this March. • More Majors be offered later on. • Fees are very competitive.
