Very little extra work is involved (a matter of 8–15 hours on the Unit 1 project and cadet workbook) This unit has been seen to be most useful for career development

40. Unit 1 - The Public Services The Integrated Vocational Assignment (IVA) is a series of small tasks which cadets complete (once) by February each year.
It is set by EDEXCEL and marked by CVQO.
It is then remarked by Edexcel
Contingents will have to organise time to brief and start the cadets on the project.
A Resource Book is produced by CVQO as reference.
