  5. Vasco Nunez De Balboa • Vasco Nunez De Balboa was the first to see the pacific ocean and claimed it and Panama for Spain.

  6. Coronado • Coronado explored southwest America and was the first European to see the Grand Canyon.

  7. Henry Hudson • Henry Hudson was looking for the northwest passage. He also found a river and named it after him self.
