  3. ROS’un önemli bir miktarı; *TCA enzimlerinden α-ketoglutarat dehidrogenaz (α-KGDH) *Mitokondri dış membranında bulunan monoamin oksidaz tarafından oluşturulur.

  4. ROS oluşumunda anahtar faktörler; *Matrix NADH:NAD⁺ oranı *Pmf (protein motive force) *∆Ψm ve ∆pH

  5. NADH:NAD⁺ oranındaki artış; *Süksinat varlığında RET (reverse elektron transport) nedeniyle *eˉtransferi boyunca kompleks I’in inhibisyonu nedeniyle, NADH’ın NAD⁺’ya bozunmuş oksidasyonu sonucu oluşur.
