Why buy a PDA when I already use a paper or computer calendar 1) It is possible to synchronize your calendar with Outlook, Notes and other calendar software (Notes may require a fee-based software installation). Palm desktop software is also nice and synchronizes automatically. 2) Portability - Unlike your desktop calendar system, you can take your PDA to meetings. This eliminates the “I don’t know if I can meet with you next Thursday scenario”. 3) There are many free or inexpensive programs you can download and use to maximize utilization of your PDA.
