Cultural Identity Essays • When you get your essay back, look over the rubric and your essay. • Common reasons for missing points include • Lack of focus or central idea • Vague or overly general explanation of your cultural identity • Poor or inconsistent flow and readability • Major grammatical mistakes (i.e. multiple run-on sentences or fragments)
“Everyday Use” • Turn in your answers for the questions over “Everyday Use.” • Fill in the SIFT chart on page 66.
