  3. Unit 4 Overview • Answer the two essential questions on page 201. • Read the information on page 197-200. • Highlight the main points from those pages. • Answer the third question on page 201.

  4. Unpack EA 4.1 (pg 272) • Your assignment is to compose a persuasive text about an issue of justice that is important to you. You will choose an appropriate audience and genrefor your argument. Conduct research as needed to help you clarify your issue and to support your argument. Consider the whole range of views on your topic and what information you might include to address these views. • Unpack each step of the assignment. • Unpack the rubric.

  5. Homework • When you’ve finished the activity, pick up the 10 Steps Chapter 1 packet and begin working. • The practices are due next class.
