Bagwell College of Education EDUC 2110: Fall 2008 Investigating Critical and Contemporary Issues in Education • Students must complete 15 hours of FX -- observation and participation in an appropriate school setting. Will NOT be offered in Summer
Bagwell College of Education EDUC 2120 Sociocultural Issues in Teaching and Learning Summer 2008: Requires a 10 hour FX in a school setting. Fall 2008: Requires a 15 hour FX in a school setting and a Friday/Saturday Seminar.

Bagwell College of Education • Admission to Teacher Education is separate from admission to KSU. • Transfer students must have a completed transcript evaluation by the Office of the Registrar in order to be considered for admission to teacher education.
Bagwell College of Education Application Fee Applications must have a receipt attached for the $20.00 TE Admission Application fee. • payable at the Bursar’s Office in the Student Center

Exempting GACE Basic Skills Assessment: • SAT – At Least 1000 Verbal (Critical Reading) + Math • ACT – At Least 43 (English + Math) • GRE – At Least 1030 (Verbal + Quantitative) • SAT prior to April 1995 or ACT prior to 1989: eligible for “recentering” typically adding points

Bagwell College of Education SECOND BACCALAUREATE INFORMATION Teacher education students who have received a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution are exempt from general education requirements with the exception of ENGL 1101 & 1102, the Georgia Legislative history and Constitution requirements, and prerequisites for courses in the major.
