Energy Improvement • In place where appropriate: compression taps systemisers flow restrictors use of hot water boilers for staff refreshments zoned/individual controlled lighting energy management system upgrade for Marina Offices • Future programmes: inventory of flushing controls to be undertaken to inform installation programme waterless urinals (pilot project) installation of flush cistern/restrictors investigating availability of grant funding evaluating potential to install smart meters

Energy – Meter Readings • Collecting accurate data to ensure that continuous improvement can be measured • System to capture energy spend and usage in place • Readings are taken monthly then passed to SCC • SCC software used to produce reports • Reports form benchmark data to evidence consumption and inform the budget process • Programme in place for the installation of automatic meter readers on all gas meters • CRC registration complete for half hourly electricity sites
