A4P @ A&O – The Pilot • The aim of the pilot was to prove the business case • The pilot would have to be statistically significant • The pilot would have to be globally integrated • The pilot would have to be externally hosted • We needed to know the solution would work globally • London 50 lawyers • New York 25 lawyers • Asia 25 lawyers / five offices • A4P was integrated into Carpe Diem and thus Elite
Observable Benefits • Increase in revenue • Pilotees estimated that 15% of the time recorded in the mobile solution was “new” time that would have been lost. • This is not the right market to charge more for the same work, but clients appreciate accurate recording. • Reduction in administration • The effort required for time capture, especially retrospectively, is quite a burden but much of this is now automated. • Improvements to work-life balance • People can do their time recording on the way home.

Project and Architecture • A&O signed an agreement with AIRTIME-Manager • Global deployment of A4P to all 2,000+ lawyers globally • Project in full-swing, aiming to deliver by the end of 2009 • Key focus areas are training, support and user admin • The architecture is simple, enabled by A4P’s design • Single global virtual server instance, running out of the UK • Integration with Carpe Diem via our Messaging Framework • Time closed in Carpe Diem transferred to 3E as normal • Fair and equitable time thresholds for auto-prompts
