Do we have a clear plan/system for data use at all levels? How will we commmunicate with the faculty, parents, and community? What is our plan for opening day with faculty? 3:45 – 4:00 Cross-Team Sharing

How much time will you spend in classrooms each day? (e.g., 1-3 hours?) How will you protect time for observations and feedback? What evidence collection tool(s) will you use that reflect the Common Core Shift and the indictors in your teacher evaluation rubric? What processes will you use for regular evidence collection across subject areas? *Walk throughs? * Mini-observations? *Patterns of Practice? “Instructional Rounds? ESSENCE– System Models: • PATTERNS OF PRACTICE • Multiple classrooms with no identification of teachrers • 2-5 min. • Template for tallying • Identify patterns of practice across classrooms • Dialogue and set goals based on patterns identified • INSTRUCTIONAL ROUNDS • Monthly* full-day administrator walks • 15-20 min. • Explores “problems of practice” in light of “theories of action” • Observe, debrief, & plan focusing on the instructional core & systemic growth
