Brainiac GOALS • To achieve mastery on ALL third grade objectives and standards that will be assessed. • To take ownership of learning and achieve success in all areas, personal and academic. • To become actively involved in a learning community by participating and taking risks. • To become in-depth, abstract thinkers!! • To appreciate everyone’s unique qualities and to learn to be satisfied with our own individual talents/gifts.

  3. Classroom Expectations TO BE THE BEST PERSON THAT WE CAN BE! TO FOLLOW EVERY ESSENTIAL THAT WE’VE ADOPTED! TO BE AN ACTIVE MEMBER IN OUR BRAINIAC FAMILY!

  4. CONSEQUENCES I AM HOPING THAT THE NEW BANKING SYSTEM WILL ELIMINATE A LOT OF “NEGATIVE” CONSEQUENCES. I STRIVE FOR POSITIVE REINFORCEMENTS AND HOPE THAT STUDENTS WILL WORK FOR THE INCENTIVES THAT WE HAVE CREATED AS A CLASS FAMILY! WITHDRAWL FORMS WILL BE GIVEN FOR INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVORS. LOSS OF FUNDS WILL BE THE RESULT.

  6. IWEB • STUDENTS WILL HAVE THEIR OWN PAGE ON THE IWEB. • THERE ARE SEVERAL STUDENTS WHO HAVE JOBS-NEWSLETTER, JOURNALIST, REPORTERS, PHOTOGRAPHER, ABC’S OF ETIQUETTE, AND NEWSCAST. • IPADS will be used as well this year! Iweb

  7. HOMEWORK 30 minutes a day 10 minutes per grade USED AS REVIEW AND A MEANS TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOU LEVELS OF STUDENT WORK AND CONTENT STUDENT’S WORK NEEDS TO BE TURNED IN ON TIME **Please discuss ANY homework concerns that may arise.

  8. SUPPORT OUR SCHOOL Sign up for PTO--- PLEASE- 5 Years of 100% Participation!! ROLES AND POSITIONS ARE ALWAYS NEEDING REPLACEMENTS. PLEASE CONSIDER BEING A PART OF THIS AMAZING GROUP OF PARENTS AND TEACHERS!
