  2. 1_definition de la robotique • La robotique est l'ensemble des techniques permettant la conception, la réalisation de machines automatiques . • L'ATILF définit le robot de la manière suivante : "Appareil effectuant, grâce à un système de commande automatique à base de micro-processeur, une tâche précise pour laquelle il a été conçu dans le domaine industriel, scientifique ou domestique" • ATILF : Analyse et traitement informatique de la langue française .

  3. 2_La robotique industrielle • La robotique industrielle est officiellement définie par l'ISO comme un contrôle automatique, reprogrammable, polyvalent manipulateur programmable dans trois ou plusieurs axes. • ISO : Organisation internationale de normalisation .

  4. 3_Robot médical • Un robot médical est un appareil utilisé pour soigner des patients (il est piloté par un médecin) • Il s’apparentant par certains aspects à un robot.
