  2. Purpose • To make old issues of the Chicago Tribune widely accessible to the public • To be a resource for Chicago history and provide a Chicagoan perspective of American history and global history from 1859 onward • They also include an FAQ • http://archives.chicagotribune.com/faq/

  3. Usability • Search by specific date or by key term • Then by date/relevance • The website seems to be form over function • But, it’s still its beta stage

  4. Conclusions • Still has work to do with usability • No instructions on how to use • Not as user-friendly as it could be • The search function is good, but should be more prominent
