  3. ATL DISTRICT 8 Includes parts of Cobb and Fulton Counties, and all of Douglas County Represented by Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms Transit systems include MARTA, CobbLinc, and Connect Douglas

ATL IN BRIEF • Created by the General Assembly in 2018, with 6 ATL Board Members appointed and 10 elected in late 2018 – first meeting held December 14, 2018 • A regional transit planning, funding, and policy oversight authority to provide coordination and consensus-building across multiple transit systems in 13-county region • Board represents a wide range of ideological, geographical, and professional backgrounds, with government, business, academic, and community experience • Board is unified around the common goal of increasing mobility options for metro Atlantans through increased coordination of existing services and strategic investment in future expansion, utilizing technology and innovation to maximize return

FORMAT FOR THIS DISTRICT DOWNLOAD SESSION ATL Staff is available at stations to provide information on: The ATL The ATL Regional Transit Plan (ARTP) Transit Projects Submitted for the ARTP in This District Potential Funding Options for Transit Projects • There is a flow to the stations, but you may view them in any order you choose • ATL Staff is available to receive comments about the ARTP or transit projects • Assistance may be provided to speakers of other languages 5
