2. Welcome to Replying to a Discussion Posting Each week in your course you are expected to reply to a Discussion Posting to fulfill your participation requirements. This is where you will answer postings from fellow classmates.

3. Step One: Getting to the Discussion Forum 1. You can find your Discussion Forums in the course home screen. 2. Select the appropriate module in the week you need to post. For this demonstration we will choose Module 2 Discussion Forum

4. Step Two: The Discussion Forum Clicking the Module Discussion will take you to a screen like this. 3. By clicking the + sign in front of “Post Title” will expand any responses or sub categories within each section.

5. Step Two: The Discussion Forum Continued Anything under a main post is a response (Responses can also have replies as well. You can view those by clicking the + sign next to the posting)

6. Step Three: Responding to a Posting 1. When in the Discussion Forum for your Module, pick select the appropriate module in the week you need to post.

7. Step Three: Responding to a Posting Continued When you click the post you want to go into, a screen like this will appear. 2. After reading what your fellow classmate has written, click “Reply”.

8. Step Four: Replying to a Post When you click Reply a screen like this will appear. If you cannot recall the topic of the post you are replying to, you can click “Quote Original Message”. Type reply to post here… 3. Write your reply in the Message Box.

9. Step Five: Submitting Reply Post (ABC: Spell checker.) Type reply to post here… 4. When you are finished with your reply, click Submit. (Your reply will then appear below the main post in the Discussion Forum.) You have now responded to a Discussion Posting.
