Seven women to one man? • Isaiah 4:1-6 We just want to be able to show that we are married • II Timothy 3:1-5 A similar situation exists in the church today • Isaiah 64:6 Your own clothes are not good enough • Matthew 22:1-14 Jesus provides appropriate dress for the occasion; you need to put them on • Ephesians 4:11-14 God wants us to come into unity of faith • Revelation 12:7-9 Since the Day Lucifer made war in heaven there have been two sides: • God’s side The devil’s side • True worshippers of God Pagan worshippers • Jerusalem, God’s city worshipped Babylon, the devil’s city worshipped idols • God • Matthew 22:37 Romans 6:16 • Isaiah 14:12-14 The devil wants worship • Matthew 4:1-9 The devil tried to get Jesus, God the Son, to worship him! • Jeremiah 6:2 Tells us that a woman represents the Church • Revelation 12:1, 17 The woman clothed with the sun • Revelation 19:10 The testimony of Jesus is the Gift of Prophecy • Mark 7:7 In vain do they worship me teaching for doctrine the commandments of men
