Overview – Release 2.18 HighlightsBlack font – See Screen Shot in Presentation for more detailed explanationBlue font– No Screen Shot in Presentation • GLOBAL CHANGES • Technical tracking fields have been removed from launch pages (Ticket 13235). • System automatically closes blank web page that appears when attachment is opened (Ticket 19858) • “Save and Return to Main” buttons have been changed to “Save and Start Workflow” where appropriate (Ticket 20091) • Principle Investigator name now works in the “Public Search” when PI has been identified by recipient using the “Manage Recipient Users” feature. (Ticket 20980) • For FALD – Access to FinLitLog entries for a document are now always accessible with or without a task on the document (Ticket 23586) • Link to Help Desk Phone number is easier to find when password assistance is needed (Ticket 23610) • Incorrect URL on Progress Report Notifications has been fixed. (Ticket 24774) • INBOX Tab • All notifications are now included in “Notifications” section of user’s inbox – some previously only went out via email. (Ticket 24086) • APPLICATION Tab • Project Dates have been added to Application Header and Application Submission Type has been removed. (Ticket 2531) • FAIS Document has been modified so that scope of work fits within the width of a printed page and does not get cut off on the left side. (Ticket 2789)

(Ticket 12937) • Program Officer award reassignment feature has been fixed to include reassignment of tasks for associated Progress Reports. (Ticket 17737) • For GMD – Cost Analysis data is saved when validation fails so that it does not have to be re-entered. (Ticket 18702) • Recipient Name in Award File Header and on FAIS sheet now comes from the Associated Organization record in the database, not from the “Legal Name” field on the SF-424. (Ticket 20768) • Proposal Number field on the Application Details page now displays a full 20 characters. Previously some characters were cut off on the display if the Proposal Number was long. (Ticket 20788) • Application Rejection letter has been enhanced to display Application Title, RFA Name, and FFO Number. Also a cc: of the rejection notice is now sent to the Program Officer who initiates the rejection notice (Ticket 22027) • On Conduct Negotiations screen the error message referring to the “Authorizing Official” has been fixed to refer to the “Authorized Representative” (Ticket 23257) • AWARD Tab • The “SAC Report” buttons on the Award Package Details (CD-450) and Amendment (CD-451) screens have been changed to “Special Award Conditions” . (Ticket 6033)

(Ticket 11935) • SF-272 Report Frequency field of the Grants File Header now indicates that NON-ASAP recipients must use SF-270 for payments. (Ticket 12991) • Notifications are sent to Authorized Rep and Program Officer when recipient attempts to submit a No-Cost Extension WITH Expanded Authority within 10 days of the award. (Ticket 13007 – fixed in previous release except notifications) • Problem with accessing, and notification of, declined awards in Grants Online has been fixed. Notification will go to Grants Officer, Grants Specialist, and Program Officer (Ticket 17147) • When searching for awards, recipients will no longer be able to see Pending awards that have been signed by the Grants Officer but have not yet completed the CBS/ASAP process. New Pending statuses: “Pending Offer” and “Pending Acceptance” (Tickets 19245, 22219) • Statuses for rejected SF-270 and rejected Award Action Requests are now displayed properly. (Tickets 19601, 19638) • Transaction Date has replaced Amendment Number in list of draw downs (Ticket 19946) • Generation of Final Report Due notifications has been fixed for those that are more than 2 weeks in the future. (Ticket 20523) • When creating a SF-272A, withdrawn or FINAL SF-272s will no longer be available. (Tickets 20922, 24353) • Amendment is now locked for CAMS 1st and 2nd approvers. (Ticket 21342)

(Ticket 21452) • An Internal Use Only comment feature has been added to Progress and Financial reports. (Ticket 22395) • For Recipients - Problem with display of certain recipient workflow has been fixed. (Ticket 22792) • For GMD – Upgrades have been made to the Enforcement functionality. ( Ticket 22985) • For Recipients – List of available Grants Online roles has been updated to include all recipient roles; previously “Submitting” roles were not available on the drop down list. (Ticket 22999) • For Recipients – An “Instructions” link has been added to the details pages for the SF-272 and SF-269 displaying a copy of the instructions from the OMB form. (Ticket 23237) • For FALD - Problem with Award Action Request workflow at FALD has been resolved. (Ticket 23336) • Workflow for declined amendments has been updated to include steps for GMD acknowledgement and CBS de-obligation (if funded). These steps were added for declined new awards in the previous release. (Ticket 23380) • A NEW Award Action Request has been created for “Termination for Convenience”. (Ticket 23482) • Status of reports is now properly set to “Delinquent” when report has been returned to the recipient and not re-submitted for over 30 days. (Ticket 24246)
