Project Status, Budget Year 2005 • A.1 SDMX: contract for first year will end December, 2006; main deliverable will be first version of SDMX Registry • A.2 SODI: contract for first year will end November, 2006;main deliverables will be SDMX converter tool and SODI Pull Requestor • A.3 XBRL: contract for first year prolonged until March, 2006, to enable feasibility testing of the taxonomies in BE, ES, NL • B.1 Visualisation: contract for first year ended September, 2006; main deliverables are XSL style sheets and JavaScript Graph tool • B.2 Compliance and B.3 Large Datasets: no work according to GIP • C.1 OSS: contract for first year ended September,2006; main deliverables are re-launch of OSS CIRCA IG and Guidelines for publishing software as OSS
Project Status, Budget Year 2006 • A.1 SDMX: contract for second year prepared to start in December, 2006 • A.2 SODI: contract for second year prepared to start in November, 2006; contract on study of extension of SODI to other areas just started • A.3 XBRL: contract for second year prepared to start in December, 2006 • B.1 Visualisation: contract for second year prepared to start in December, 2006; main deliverable will be highly interactive graphics for PEEIs • B.2: SDMX Compliance of Eurostat’s web site: first contract just started • B.3: Large Datasets: first contract prepared to start in November or December, 2006, a number of candidate surveys have been identified • C.1 OSS: contract for second year prepared to start in November or December, 2006
ITDG members are asked • to comment on the progress of X-DIS in general • to contribute with their ideas for the further developments in the framework of X-DIS; • to indicate whether there are any issues which might affect the approval of the continuation of X-DIS by their representatives in the SPC (in May 2007 the SPC will have to decide on the continuation of X-DIS, judging the progress of the project by the fulfilment of the following milestones as set out in the X-DIS GIP)
