  4. Where are we headed? Depart = Travel Time 9 am = 3 ¾ hrs 12 pm = 3 ¾ - 4 ¾ hrs 2 pm = 3 ¾ - 6 hrs NC United Methodist Conference Disaster Response Center 2909 North Main Street, Tarboro NC Main Street (3 miles) Tar River Work Location – Princeville NC

Timeline • Wednesday, 13 Feb – Friday, 15 Feb: • Advance Team to (Mike, Rochelle & Mark) • Team work planning/prep • Food purchase/prep • Do some work • Friday, 15 Feb: • Try to depart before 2 pm in car pools (to beat traffic out of DC) • Saturday, 16 Feb: Team Work Day • Sunday, 17 Feb: Team Work Day • Monday, 18 Feb: Clean up and depart for DC

  6. Anticipated Work • Work: Help the NCC UMC • Flooring • Dry wall/finishing • Painting • Electrical • Plumbing • Roofing • Cabinets • Clean up National Guard • Armory and set up for berthing • Work Day = Daylight hours

Food Plan and Plan of the Day Stay Flexible- Stay Focused- Stay Safe Potential Daily Routine 0630-0800- Breakfast- prayer/meditation- get ready to work 0830- Head to job sites Lunch may be in small groups driven by the demands of the work we are tasked 1630-1700- Clean up and head back to base 1830- Dinner- devotional- fellowship

Need to bring: • Toiletries • Bath Towel • Sheets for twin bed • Blanket for twin bed • Or Sleeping bag • Pillow • Shower soap • Medicines • Work Clothes • Work shoes/boots May want to bring: • Ear Plugs (for noisy sleepers) • Flashlight • Gloves • Work Gloves • Hand Tools (hammer, ????)- Most likely Mike, Mark and Miguel will have what we need • Entertainment Items (Game / Cards, Puzzle, Book) • Special food/snacks • Flip Flops/Slippers
