  6. Topics for First Semester • Unit Motion (1D)—3 Weeks • Forces (1D)—4 Weeks • Mechanics & Forces (2D)-5 Weeks • Momentum & Collisions—2 Weeks • Work, Power, Energy, & Thermodynamics Dimensions—3 Weeks • Final Exam—1 Week

  7. Their semester grade will be made up of the following components: • Tests 40% • Major Assessments(Projects, Performances Assessments, & Major Labs) 25% • Minor Assessments(Classwork/Homework, Quizzes, Minor Labs) 20% • Final Exam 15%

  8. Extra Help: is available Monday thru Friday 7:50—8:15. Afternoons by appointment! Physics Tutoring—Tuesdays & Wednesdays Room 152 3:30-4:20

  9. Late Work • All assignments are due at the beginning of class. Assignments will be accepted 1 day late for 50% credit. Assignments that are 2 or more days late will be counted as a zero in the grade book. • .
