  3. Overleving AS en aortasclerose

  4. Hoeveel pt krijgen AVR ? • 50 % van de patiënten met symptomatisch ernstig AS krijgen geen aortaklepvervanging (te oud, geweigerd voor chirurgie, ..) • Overleving bij deze patiënten is zeer slecht mogelijkheid percutane aortaklepvervanging dient overwogen te worden

Complicaties • 30 dagen mortaliteit: 6.7 % in eerste reeksen • Cardiaal overlijden: 3.7 % • AMI: 0.7 % • Majeurearythmien: 4.9 % • Pacemaker: 12 % • CVA / TIA: 1.7 % • Nierfalen: 1.2 % • Majeure bloeding: 2.3 % • Tamponnade: 2.3 % • Aortadissectie: 0.4 % • Vasculair probleem access (lies): 1.9 %

  7. AI bij ontslag

  8. Besluit • 50 % van de patiënten met ernstig AS krijgen geen AVR owv. te hoog operatief risico • Deze patiënten zouden in overweging moeten genomen worden voor PAVI, waarbij ongeveer 50 % (van de resterende 50 %) in aanmerking zou komen • Succes van de procedure > 90 %, meest voorkomende complicatie is een pacemaker
