HSD Committee Members will: • Develop and maintain an effective and comprehensive safety program • Assist with the development and promotion of procedures to ensure the safety and health of all persons in the workplace • Recommend the development and promotion of education, information and training programs relating to safety and health

3. HSD Committee Members will: • Receive reports from workplace representatives in advance of each meeting • Review health and safety concerns reported by the workplaces • Assist in inspection of workplaces and identification of safety and health concerns

4. HSD Committee Members will: • Recommend solutions to health and safety concerns • Review reports concerning job hazards, accidents, inspection of facilities, and emergency procedures • Conduct investigations when workplace accidents occur
