Adjetivos demostrativos • Se usan para indicar dónde alguien o algo está en relación al que está hablando. • Preceden (antes) del nombre o sustantivo que modifican • Debe estar de acuerdo (agree) en género y número (singular/plural; masculino/femenino) • Este, esta, estos, estas – se usan para señalar los sustantivos que están cerca en tiempo y espacio del que habla y el que escucha. (near the speaker)(aquí) • Ese, esa, esos, esas – se usan para señalar sustantivos que no están cerca del que habla pero cerca del que escucha.(near the person spoken to)(allí) • Aquel, aquella, aquellos, aquellas – se usan para señalar sustantivos que están lejos del que hable y del que escucha.(far from both)(allá)

Pronombres Demostrativos • Se usan cuando sustituyen al sustantivo • Todas las formas llevan acento • Deben estar de acuerdo (agree) en género y número • éste, ésta, éstos, éstas – se usan para señalar los sustantivos que están cerca en tiempo y espacio del que habla y el que escucha. (near the speaker)(aquí) • ése, ésa, ésos, ésas – se usan para señalar sustantivos que no están cerca del que habla pero cerca del que escucha.(near the person spoken to)(allí) • Aquél, aquélla, aquéllos, aquéllas – se usan para señalar sustantivos que están lejos del que habla y del que escucha.(allá)

  5. Neutrales – esto, eso, aquello • Se usan cuando nos referimos a sustantivos, situaciones, ideas o conceptos que no podemos identificar como masculino o femenino.
