Strategic Priorities • Create a brand that reflects the values of the sport and unifies the gymnastics community in the UK • Ensure systems and processes enable the effective and efficient delivery of the sport in the UK • Invest in the development of coaches and associated delivery systems • Define new markets/experiences for the 9+ cohort and introduce strategies to stimulate greater participation
Strategic Priorities • Strengthen and support the high performance network/system across all disciplines • Increase club access to facilities and new spaces resulting from austerity measures being introduced in local government and businesses • Assist clubs and coaches to fill the gap in service provision in schools and identify future talent • Create a spectacular event in every major city designed to entertain a non-gymnastics’ audience
Development Team • Key Aims • Increase participation in gymnastics through continuing to develop the core offer for 6 – 11 year olds • Focus on retaining and growing participants aged 11-25 years old through providing relevant activities • For and improve existing partnerships with delivery partners to enable the delivery of gymnastics • Establish and empower gymnastics networks involving a range of delivery partners to deliver provision locally

Delivery Partners • Provide support to club leaders • Establish satellite venues • Develop existing and form new partnerships with leisure providers • Deliver and implement the BG Schools offer and club – school partnerships • Increase HE / FE participation through partnerships with the wider gymnastics community
Opportunities • Continue to improve the core gymnastics participation offer • Focus on retaining participation • Introduce gymnastics activities targeting 11 – 25 year olds • Growth of festival and performance opportunities • Introduce mass participation based competition
Space • Increase the number of dedicated facilities • Improve existing facilities • Increase access to space in non dedicated facilities
Volunteers • Support the development and deployment of young leaders • Increase the number of adult volunteers and the support offered to them
North Yorkshire • Headlines • Support two clubs working towards GymMark • Develop Team Gym activity in two clubs • Develop GymFit sessions in one club • Establish a MY Club in one club • Support the growth of the core gymnastics offer • Establish two My Leadership Academies • Deliver one adult volunteering workshop
