GOALS . . . • Encourage community stewardship • Introduce homeowners to basic lawn maintenance and plant care • Provide attractive, low maintenance yards • Encourage the families to grow vegetable gardens

LANDSCAPE BLITZTIME LINE . . . • Beginning of the year: • Set Landscape Blitz dates with Habitat for Humanity • Sign up Master Gardener Team Leaders and Assistants • Sign up Landscape Design volunteers • Request donations for perennials and other plant materials
LANDSCAPE BLITZ TIME LINE . . . • 3 Weeks before Blitz • Give house elevation plans to Designers • Set up perennial plant drop off locations • 2 Weeks before Blitz • Receive completed landscape designs • Develop materials shopping list • 1 Week before Blitz • Send out reminders to Volunteers • Shop best pricing
LANDSCAPE BLITZ TIME LINE . . . • 2 Days before Blitz • Collect perennials from drop off points • 1 Day before Blitz • Purchase plant materials • Stage purchases at each house • Stage perennials at central location • Have donated mulch delivered
