Descrpition •Becky and I picked Multimedia Designers because it looked fun and interesting. •Multimedia Designers create programs and applications for the Internet and for CD-ROM, like web sites and games. •Multimedia products combine graphics, sound, text, animation, still images and digital video into one package.

Facts • Salary: The median annual salaries for Multimedia Artists were $41,130 in 2000. • Where Employed: Multimedia Designers work for high-tech, software, online and multimedia startup companies. • Number Employed: There were 147,000 Artists including Multimedia Designers in 2000. • Job Growth: Grow faster than average, increasing by 21 to 35 percent through 2010.
