What is Leukemia • Leukemia is the cancer of the blood or bone marrow.
Causes and Symptoms • Symptoms include: bruising easily, excessive bleeding, and develop pinprick bleeds. • White blood cells may be suppressed or dysfunctional. • Causes: not all causes are know for all the different types of Leukemia. Chemicals, viruses, and iodizing radiation are common causes.
Problems with Homeostasis • Blood cells start forming immaturely and keep accumulating rapidly. • They accumulate in the organs of the body. • These cells cant complete the normal processes of blood cells and cause problems.
