iREADY Assessment i-Ready is a computer generated, adaptive, individualized, diagnostic assessment which determines competency on Common Core math and reading skills. The adaptive diagnostic test is used to determine areas of student strength and need in key strands or domains. Results drive instruction as teachers work towards satisfying each student’s individual needs.

iREADY Assessment i-Ready prepares students for the Smarter Balance: • i-Ready was built on the Common Core, and SBAC was designed to assess student mastery of the CCSS • i-Ready teaches students how to use technology enhanced items, which are very important for SBAC • i-Ready Diagnostic is an online adaptive assessment, which is the same format a the SBAC assessments • i-Ready covers a range of DOKs (depth of knowledge) to account for cognitive rigor called for by SBAC • i-Ready prepares students to read authentic and complex text, an emphasis for SBAC
