Sexism in the Media Contd. •Hilary R. Clinton got many feministic, racial slurs that were not defended •Her laugh was called a cackle •The questions the media gave her were shallow political questions and not as in depth as the other nominees
Sexism in Advertising Contd. • Women in advertisements often have emphasis on their butts, breasts, or waists • Women are shown in cliché advertisements, such as diet products, cleaning products, and medicinal ads • Women often shown in uncomfortable, sexual positions for advertising uses
