We have done (thankst he leadership of Surrey County Council): The Percentage project was set out to develop a training tool which would enable those working in the care and health occupational sectors to produce high quality and appropriate care-plans for older clients. A partnership of 6 organisations drawn from 5 European countries and representing the public, private and voluntary sector working together over 26 months in total to achieve this. Our learning programme based on a person-centred approach to care giving; it developed skills in new ways and enable those working directly with older people to gain a new form of recognition for the skills and knowledge they use in their everyday work. The project takes the philosophy of person-centred interventions as its starting point in an attempt to successfully provide a vocational development tool capable of addressing serious and growing issues around elderly care and parallel demographic factors Now is going on one Eu- project: Progress project Quality Care for Quality Ageing (Project leader is Veneto region) What we have done
