Name: Ned Kelly • What he did: Ned Kelly shot someone in the wrist, then he ran, but later on the police captured him, he was sentenced to death and then hung. • How he ended up: Ned Kelly ended up getting hung. • My opinion of him: I think he is a very silly man for running away from the police because it just got him into more trouble. Ned Kelly

  4. Name: Ben Hall • What he did: Over a few short years, he committed over 600 robberies but he never killed anyone. Ben Hall's hiding place was told to the police by an friend who was protecting Hall's escape money. • How he ended up: Troopers arrived at Ben Hall's camp before dawn, but waited until sunrise until they could identify him. When the plain clothes but armed men emerged from the bush, Hall ran in the opposite direction before being shot in the shoulder and back. • I think that he is a silly man for robbing so many places and committing so many crimes.   6. Name: Dirk Hartog • What he did: He discovered Dirk Hartog Island on the 25th October 1616. • How he ended up: Dirk Hartog died on the 11th October 1621, in Amsterdam. • My opinion of him: I think that Dirk Hartog is a lucky person, because he got to discover part of Australia. Dirk Hartog

  7. Name: Abel Janszoon Tasman • What he did: In August 1642 he discovered Van Diemen's Land, New Zealand, the Tonga Islands and some of the Fijian Islands. • How he ended up: Abel Tasman died on the 10th of October in 1659 • My opinion of him: Abel Tasman
