  1. What is Contingency Contract? Contingency Contract is a seasonal event in Arknights in which the player chooses several contracts that impose buffs on enemies, debuffs on allies, and several other limitations. As more and more contracts are chosen, the difficulty of the run increases, with the total risk level being the summation of all risk levels taken (which can range from 1 to 3 for each contract, 1 being the easiest and 3 being the hardest). The maximum level for rewards on daily and event missions are 8 and 18 respectively. Anything beyond that is just for bragging rights.

  2. FAQs Q: Is it possible to clear level 18 with low rarity? Q:What are the total bounties we gain this season and how much do we need for the shop? A: Yes it is possible to do so but this is CC. You need the best ones you have in your roster to pass. A: Total possible bounties is 4825, with the limited shop total cost is 3075

  6. Basic Strategies

  7. Disclaimer I only explained these two strategies because it is very common. Feel free to test stuff by yourself when the event comes as most units are replaceable and achieving level 18 is much easier than back then in CC Beta. If an operator isn't mentioned it doesn't mean they're not usable, as I forgot to mention them. As this CC will be simple, I'll keep this guide very short and explain each reason behind why use that strategy.

  8. No shifter/Kill them all bottom

  9. Operators needed Hellagur E2 70 S2M1 or above. Can be replaced with a defender + healing defender pair. Myrtle S1M3. CANNOT BE REPLACED. SilverAsh E2 40 S3M3. Can be replaced with Lappland E2 40 S2M3. She can better deal with the spiders. Blaze E2 40 or above S2M3. Can be replaced with Specter E2 40 S1 level 7 or above. Saria E2 40 S2M3. Can be replaced with Nearl/Gummy however you need to reposition them. The extra 1 or 2 slots will be for fast redeploy unit.

  10. Explanation The strategy says for itself. It doesn't need any shifter to do this strategy. Rather than letting them die in the heat pump (which deals 2000 true damage in 4-6 second random interval), we kill the small units in the bottom using a set of guards and defenders. On the top were the Rockbreakers and casters go, Hellagur can use his S2 to 1v1 them and have 75% dodge, which in turn lets the Rockbreakers stay longer in the heat pump and die. Reason why he needs E2 70 is because at level 70 he has 4000 health which brings him down to 2000 health because of -50% HP. You can mix this strat with a defender stall strategy for the top lane enemies only. This strategy however relies on having high rarity units so I don't recommend if you are lacking more than one unit in your roster.

  11. Shift and hold

  12. Operators needed Hoshiguma E2 40 S3M3. Replaceable with Liskarm S1, Nian S2, and Cuora S2 level 7. Myrtle S1M3. CANNOT BE REPLACED. Also Texas or Siege to hold off the early pressure while gaining additional DP cost 2 healing defenders. Choose from Saria, Nearl, Gummy, or Spot. If using Saria or Nearl, E2 40 S1M3. If using others, E1 max S1 level 7 is fine. Gravel E1 max S2 level 7. You can also E2 M3 her for more survivability. Can be replaced with Red however it's very RNG reliant. Cliffheart S2M3. Used for splitboxing and stunning enemies while dealing true damage. Any pusher you have at skill 1 level 4. The force tile will give them enough additional force to push units upwards.

  13. Explanation This strategy is more f2p friendly due to the fact that most of the units are replaceable with lower rarity counterparts with minimal need for 6 star operator. Hoshiguma being replaced with Liskarm is actually viable due to her SP battery talent that everytime she gets hit, she provides the secondary healing defender behind her with 1 SP which makes their skill charge even faster and heal Liskarm a bit more than usual. Splitboxing enemies with Cliffheart makes the Rockbreakers take 200% more damage from the heat pumps due to them being in the center of the 4 tiles, with 3 of it being heat pumps. S2M3 on her will lessen the need of another shifter (e.g Shaw skill 2 level 7), does more true damage and stuns longer, providing more breathing room for the main tank. Gravel then splitboxes the spiders the moment they are in between the heat pump.

  14. I hope you are able understand this short guide. Always remember that what matters the most is you are having fun with this event. No need to make fun of people who aren't able to clear level 18 as this is a PvE game and there's no need for toxicity. If you aren't able to clear level 18 this season, there is Season 1 with a lot of time for you to improve your roster. Best of luck to you on the next Contingency Contract seasons!
