How To Make Suji Appe Recipe With Video Today we are going to make an instant version of suji appam. So let’s begin with the recipe of suji ke appe and I am also going to share a suji appe recipe video in Hindi. Suji appe recipe is good option for breakfast and tiffin snacks for kids. I am going to start with sauteing a few ingredients. So first I going to heat up about two spoons of oil in the pan. Once the oil is nice and hot, add some mustard seeds, a few curry leaves. Add half chopped onion. Add half capsicum finely chopped. Add 8-10 finely chopped beans. Half carrot finely chopped. Lets quickly stir fry these veggies for a minute. Add one cup of suji or semolina. Mix it well and cook it for 2 minutes. Take this mixture into a bowl and let it cool down for at least 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes add 1 spoon of ginger chili paste. Half teaspoon garam masala. Salt to taste. 2 spoons freshly grated coconut. Some coriander leaves. Mix it well and add half a cup of curd and half a cup of water. Give it a nice mix and let it rest for around 15 minutes. After 15 minutes add more water and give it a mix. Don’t add all the water at once because suji tends to absorb a lot of water. This way we exactly know how much do we need. Just before cooking, you can add a pinch of soda. This is just an optional step. If you don’t have it or don’t want to add it you can just skip it. Keep the appam plate to heat and add a few drops of oil and brush it all over. Add the batter to the appam plate. Cover it and let it cook for a few minutes. When one side of your suji ke appe is cooked well flip them over and cook for few minutes again.
