  3. Part ⅠWhy shall we keep our ways pure? 1John 2:16 For everything in the world—the craving of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the Father but from the world.

  4. 1 John 3:2-3 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.

  5. PartⅡ How to keep our ways pure Psalm 19:7-11 The Law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. • .

  6. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; They are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb. By them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward

  7. PartⅢHow to live according to God’s word 1 Seek after God’s word. Psalm 19:10 They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; They are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb.

  8. 2 Stick to God’s word. Psalm 119:2 Blessed are they who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart.

  9. 3 Apply his word in our lives Ephesians 6:17 Take the helmet of the salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
