What is a hierarchy? • A hierarchy is a rating on how strong or weak the wolves are in the pack. • The Alfa male (father) makes the hierarchy. • The omega is the lowest in the pack. • Silver Night states that” The hierarchy maintains order, dictating who makes decisions, who mates with whom, who eats first, and who eats last.”

  3. How Wolf hierarchies change? • A wolf hierarchy can change by the Alfa pair can die or something like that the beta pair will take over. • A wolf hierarchy can also change if a wolf pack member does not respect the Alfa they fight and the pack member wins

Wolves And Humans Humans Wolves When a alpha dies the other leaves and the beta pair takes over Wolves howls really loud if not close by Take care of young with all the of pack Wolves and Humans • When a parent dies the other parent takes over • Humans call if the other person is not there on the phone • Only family takes care of the young • Alpha and omega • Raise young • Mammals • Eat meat • Feed young milk
