Can we join in with AHS, ALA and ACS to do this or tie into their day?

Recommendations • Diversify training topics • Diversify membership – Hispanic, Native American, African American Organizations/Individuals • More substantial member benefits • Online journal subscription or list-serve subscription • Create presentation to recruit organizational memberships • Create new marketing brochure, focus on benefits and value • Communicate importance of sub-committees to membership and their supervisors • Instead of concentrating on minimal time commitment, focus on how participating is integral to CTFA continuing to operate and reach higher goals • Spotlight committees and actions in every newsletter • With re-designed Web site, include tobacco control news, job listings, abstracts, white papers, etc. • Announce revamped Web site through newsletter and list-serve • Newsletter needs more substance as well • Tobacco control news, articles, studies, spotlight members, editorials from membership, case studies of other states
